Since 2011, there are 242 missing person cases in Colorado that remain open and unsolved. Sadly, the vast majority of cases from 2011 to 2021 in the Colorado Bureau of Investigations 'Cold Case' directory do not include a valid photo.

Missing Persons Cases in Colorado From the Past Decade

Over the past decade, the year 2011 still has the largest number of open cold cases with eleven people still missing. There are still eight open cases from both 2012 and 2013. Comparatively, 2018, 2019, and 2020 saw the least number of cases during the decade. The Denver and Colorado Springs area seem to appear frequently as the incident city in many cases during the last 10 years.
