Hocus Pocus is a Halloween staple for many who grew up with the Disney film and now share it with children of their own. The movie draws inspiration from The Salem Witch Trials in Massachusetts with the tale of the Sanderson Sisters who are, in fact, witches.

The sisters were hanged and 300 years later were reawakened one Halloween night.

If you live in New England, you're about as far away as you can get from a Hollywood set, so you would rarely get to visit iconic movie locations but luckily Salem is an easy drive.

For more information on the filming locations, you can visit Salem's Tourism Bureau or the hilariously named film location site, IAmNotAStalker.

Before you make your trip, as of this publication date (October 2020) Salem does have restrictions in place due to COVID-19. Be sure to do your research before you go.
