Perhaps the best-known individual buried in Stepney Cemetery in Monroe, Connecticut, is one with whom you’re not very familiar – at least, not yet. But, I’ll tell you the story behind it.

Edward Miney died in 2006 and was buried at the relatively tiny cemetery in the enclave of Monroe known as Stepney. His wife was also buried there more recently, in fact just last year.

The rectangular, column-style gravestone has room for engraved remembrances on all four sides. In Ed’s case, there are such writings on three of the four sides (the fourth side is blank).
