I don't think anybody can argue that 2020 is one of the wildest and most unique years in recent history. From the coronavirus to murder hornets, 2020 has been flat out crazy. In fact, things have been so crazy in the world that the US Government more or less confirmed that aliens exist and nobody seemed to notice.

In case you missed it, 2 weeks ago the New York Times ran an earth-shattering story about the Pentagon's UFO unit and some of their findings. In the past, the Pentagon denied the program even existed and insisted that the program had been disbanded. Now, not only did they confirm the UFO unit is fully operational under the Navy banner, but that the Government is in possession of "off-world vehicles not made on this earth.”

I figured that this story would be EVERYWHERE! The Government is confirming that UFOs exist, publishing videos of said UFOs and basically saying that we are not alone in the universe. However, over the last two weeks, I've barely heard a peep about it. Nothing! The only place I've seen the announcement covered in depth was in a discussion between Post Malone and Joe Rogan on the Joe Rogan Experience.

To me, the NY Times report had my mind racing. When did the government know that aliens were real? How much of the Area 51/Roswell, New Mexico story is real? What else is the Government keeping from us? Because, not only does this bombshell confirm that aliens are real, but it also proves that Government can run a long term cover-up. I mean this to me is incredible information! It also could explain the rapid rate of technological evolution over recent decades.

Heck, not too terribly long ago, mysterious lights were spotted over Shreveport-Bossier. Most people dismissed the lights as something to do with Barksdale Air Force Base. But, maybe inside the Bubble, the fine folks at Barksdale were working on some sort of extraterrestrial aircraft. We now know the government has these things and that they aren't some sort of drug or conspiracy fueled vision. THEY ARE REAL!

But, as I said, this news was released to little fan fare and disappeared into the ether of the news cycle. I don't know if I have a point here. I'm not sure what I'm working towards. All I know is that 2020 is such a crazy time in the world that aliens have been confirmed and nobody seems to care. We aren't living in the X-Files age anymore...the truth isn't out there, it's right in front of our faces!
